Ente Scacchi del Fermano
was officially opened in 2007 by the will of various stakeholders including the Association of Hotels and Tourism of Fermo, the Chess Circles of Porto Sant'Elpidio and Fermo, the Society of Mutual Aid Workers Fermo, the City of Porto San Giorgio and other supporting to give greater visibility to the reality of chess there. In the past years has made us appreciate in Italy and abroad for the organization of chess and so many events, especially for an International Festival of the most popular in Italy. This has meant that the local clubs have grown to reach important milestones sports. In there is the great challenge of the European Youth Championships in 2009: Europe and much of the world keep their eyes on the dot of these championships to be held in the town of Fermo since August 31 to September 9. Ente Scacchi del Fermano is putting all their energies together with the Italian Chess Federation, to ensure that the Italy of chess continues to show even after the Olympic Games in Turin on his ever-increasing value in an international organization and is always all high expectations of all. A short history for a body just born, but made by many people passionate chess and with a wealth of experience behind chess that can only be good for the world of chess.
